2. Essential cookies — always on
These cookies are required for SLCompare to work. You cannot disable them — without them, you cannot sign in to the business portal.

Legal basis: Necessary for contract performance — providing the portal service you signed up for. Renters browsing the site without an account are not issued any essential cookies.
3. Session storage — anonymous usage only
To avoid counting the same visit multiple times in our anonymous usage statistics, we use browser session storage to track whether you have already been counted in the current session.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest — providing accurate, non-inflated anonymous usage statistics while protecting individual privacy.
4. What we don't use
- No third-party advertising cookies
- No tracking pixels
- No social media tracking cookies
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
- No Google Analytics or similar services
- No personalisation based on browsing behaviour
SLCompare does not show third-party advertisements. The only promoted content on SLCompare comes from Second Life estate agents and breedable market operators listed on the platform.
5. Managing cookies
Essential cookies cannot be disabled — the business portal cannot function without them. If you are only browsing listings as a renter, no essential cookies are set.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling essential cookies will sign you out of the portal and prevent you from accessing it.
